Drill on the protocols of Yoga Olivia Enlightened English School celebrated International Day of Yoga on June 27, 2018. The school organized a mass yoga demonstration for the students. Classes II to X performed yoga reminding the importance of �yoga in daily life�. The students were shown their abilities in this field by which each and every audience was just speechles. The coordination of each and every step was just commendable. They were completed the drill in three phases. 1 st phase consists of Suryanamaskara, 2 nd phase consists of Tadasana, Trikonasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Pada Hastasana, Brikshasana, Bakasana, Ardha Chandrasana, Triyank Tadasana and Utkatasana and the last phase consists of Parvat Asana, Panchimattansana, Jnnusirasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Noukasana, Chakrasana, Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana and Padhamasana. The Principal of the school delivered his gratitude by saying so many inspirational words for all. Executive Director of the school discussed the benefits of early rising and practicing yoga. She also pointed out the contribution of yoga in maintaining fitness and good health and how it helps students to memorize something and understand a concept and its context. She said that yoga is the scientific way of living healthy and increasing life expectancy. It keeps the physician away and helps various parts of the body perform their functions smoothly in proper coordination. It strengthens the immune system and does internal cleansing of blood, body parts, body systems, organs, veins & arteries. It brings a divine glow on the face and makes us wise. At the end a vote of thanks by CCA In charge inspired the teachers as well as students.. Van Mahotsab Van Mahotsav, a week long festival of tree planting is organized every year in the first week of July across India when millions of trees are planted. This movement was initiated in the year 1950 by India@aps@s Union Minister for Agriculture, Kulapati Dr. K M Munshi. The celebration of Van Mahotsav Week at OEES was an ideal opportunity to in still personal and social responsibility in our students to save the trees and forests. The students of OEES participated in various activities conducted by the school
